Mt. Borah, Idaho, October, 2010

Mt. Borah is Idaho's tallest peak coming in at an elevation of 12,660 feet. This was a perfect late October day. We got camp set up at about sunset and had a good night of beers and fajitas!
Josh, Ben and Spenser at the saddle after climbing over chicken out ridge. The snow was from a storm a few weeks earlier that caused a group to bivy at this saddle.
                                                                    Sacajawea Peak

A t-shirt and nomex pants classic mountaineering gear....

                                                                  Ben at the summit.

Nothing better than a scree field and a flask of whiskey!

A slightly more dignified summit photo.

I swore I could see the cooler full of beer from here in the back of Ben's pickup.

Climbing back over chicken out ridge on the way down.

Looking down the west side of the saddle. It wouldn't be long before we were back at camp, finishing the trip much as it had started with beers and a lot of laughs.
